Understanding Osteoarthritis
Osteo Arthritic patients experience
a vicious cycle. Without exercise, cartilage, synovial fluid,
muscle and joints become unhealthy. As this cycle progresses,
the pain increases and this provides the right environment
for more arthritic changes to occur. Patients need to exercise
to reduce the symptoms and severity of arthritis, as well
as maintain joint health, muscle strength, and flexibility.
